Great video on runner Kara Goucher and how she rededicated herself to the sport of running. Very motivating how she is turning her career around and recommitting after the birth of her son in the fall of 2010. I can definitely relate to this since I just had baby in the Fall of 2010. It is easy to make excuses once you you have a child but once you commit to getting as fit as you can it feels amazing.

These photos are from the Atlantic City Half Marathon. It was such an amazing race. I raised over $600 for Susan G. Komen. My Mother in Law had stage 2 breast cancer so I thought this race would be a great thing for me to do to give back.
The Half Marathon was amazing. I ran a 1:50 and felt incredible. Even the last 3 miles I still had a lot in me. My first big race after my baby boy. So proud to be strong healthy Mama and good example to my son.
This March I am doing the Miami Half Marathon. I am so excited to run the Miami half and see the city running!
